I'm trying to get this Roland MC-303 setup to play/record through my PC. I was hoping for now that I could run the RCA cables into a Y adapter and into the line-in on my soundcard.
This works, but I only get sound out of the left speaker. Doesn't matter if I swap the sides of the rca cables, whether I only use one side of the Y adapter, or which side of the adapter I use. I always just get sound just out of the left speaker.
In addition, I haven't been able to get anything to record using the line-in either...which is really the point of all this.
I'm guessing I must be limited to a mono signal through the line-in and maybe the Y is useless. The 303 also has MIDI connections and my SBLive has a daughter card with midi connects, although they're not the same size. I'm not sure what to do on this end either.
Anyone have experience with something similar?
