Ok. Here's the deal.
I have an AC97 integrated sound in my PC. It came with my DFI Lanparty Ultra-D. It sounds terrible and I cannot record to the mic with it, so I just bought an SB Audigy 2 ZS.
I installed it, and it seems to be working just fine.
However, I'm worried if it can possibly conflict with my integrated AC97 audio. Should I disable it somehow?? Is my SB Audigy working to it's fullest potential in this config?
All I did is I plugged the Audigy into a PCI port, and installed the driver. I also uninstalled the AC97 Realtek driver.

Exactly, go into the bios and find the integrated peripherals screen and set the onboard sound option to disabled and you should be good to go.
