Soundcard for use solely with headphones

It will be used mainly for gaming and some music. It would be nice to find one with a quality headphone amp onboard (does one even exist?).

If you are just looking for something functional, I'd go with onboard sound actually. Is that an option?

"Quality" and "built-in amp" do not belong in the same sentence. I would go with a standard Audigy 2 (perhaps platinum for front panel access) then connect a separate headphone amp to your line out.
