Soundcard drivers enabled but not started?

I have an SB Live Value on an A-Bit KT7-RAID with Windows XP Professional. I have been trying to get my 4 speakers working so I have been unin-installing and re-installing new and different sets of drivers to see if I could get it working right. Well, yesterday when I was installing drivers I got a blue screen (sorry, not sure what it said). I rebooted and now there is a problem.

I have removed all the drivers and re-installed the newest SB live drivers and software, the install goes successful and my soundcard is detected. I reboot, but nothing.. it sounds the sound card working fine in device manager but if I go into the properities for the sound card it says that the status is the driver is enabled but has not been started for each of the audio properities. If I run creative diagnostics it passes the hardware detection but all the other things fail. I tried removing everything in safe mode and re-installing, didn't help.. I tried a bunch of different drivers, including some for 2000 and that didn't help. I removed everything and put my soundcard into a different pci slot and let windows redetect it but it is still doing the same thing.

Since it says that the drivers are enabled but have not been started, is there any way that I can start them? I really have no idea what to try from here, I tried everything that I can think of and I really don't want to re-install XP over something like this. Any suggestions would be great.

Generally when a driver installs but its service does not start, there
is a resource conflict somewhere.

Check the Device Manager to see if there is a Yellow dot with a Exclamtion point in it.

Also, check the Event Viewer to see what the specific error that occured when it blue screened.

The correct drivers for the SB LIVE! Value are Revision: SBLW-XPWEB-W3-US.

Try device manager.
