soundblaster wont work

built a new system.... asus cuv4x mobo, pIII 866, prophet 2 gts 64mb ddr, ibm 7200 rpm hd, viewsonic 19 inch, d-link ethernet card, works great when i put in the aureal vortex 4500 sound card. when i put in my sound blaster live it wont work, it starts to load drivers at boot up then i get fatal blue screen error.... tried two new soundblaster live cards same thing, tried latest drivers for sound blaster live no go. tried every pci slot same thing... ANYONE KNOW WHATS GOING ON..... i WOULD LIKE TO HAVE MY SOUNDBLASTER BACK.

You need the latest driver from CL. However, you need the LiveWare 3.0 update(from CL) too. It comes in two flavors. Big, like 16 Mb or so. And small, ~3.5 Mb. The small one works fine for me.
