Soundblaster Value or GA 7VAXP onboard audio?

Should I use my 3 year old Soundblaster Value and disable the onboard AC97 audio on my GA 7VAXP or keep the PCI slot available?

I assume you're referring to the Sound Blaster Live! Value card? If so, I like the sound from that better than the onboard sound, especially with the better support in games and Windows for Creative technology. Plus, onboard sound takes up processing time that could be better spent elsewhere.
