Soundblaster liveware 3.0 for WinME and problems!

I loaded the new soundblaster liveware and drivers for WinME and it got half way through installation and crashed my machine.
Managed to get it back up and installed the new drivers again. Now when i put a cd in it dosent auto play eventhough notification is set up.
Game play sound is horrible especially with motocross madness. Sound cuts in and out and is garbled.
I have had nothing but problems with Soundblaster products. I wish someone else made well supported soundcards. Anyone else have these problems?
Sorry, I just had to vent a little. Creative products give me nothing but problems from soundcards, vid cards, cd roms, to drivers.
 
I guess its a possibility. Considering these drivers are designed for WinMe specifically I would think it would be up to Creative to get it working right. Then again who knows. I'm sure both Microsoft and Creative will sit their and blame each other.
