All the drivers of my SB Live Player 5.1 are installed correctly. However, my creative gameport joystick fails, that means my sidewinder gamepad cannot be detected.

in all likelihood, you have a dma/irq conflict...manually assign irq/dmas in yoru bios to your pci cards...
