Soundblaster Live! MiniDisc Center

I noticed that my new soundblaster live! soundcard has an output for a minidisc player.
My only problem is, is that I have a minidisc component deck that records, not a portable minidisc that records like most that are out now.

How do I go about recording audio from my computer on to a minidisc throught the deck?

I don't quite know what output is that from your soundblaster. But normally, if you want to record your MD digitally, you will need an optical out.

If your soundblaster happens to have a square-ish output with red light, you can go to Bestbuy and buy an optical cable. Most MD decks use Tos-Link optical input so you'll need a Tos-Link to Tos-Link cable. From there, you'll be all set.
