Soundblaster Live! and Win2k...4 speaker output??

Hi there, I am using just the standalone drivers for Win2k and I was wondering if anybody has been able to get 4 speaker output? Apprently Win2k is only outputting sound to the rear speaker port i think. IT is not outputting sound to both the rear and the front....

Any suggestions???

Works for me. I'm on a fresh install of win2k and I've only installed the latest SBLive WDM drivers (no liveware). Maybe if you set your speaker setup to quadraphonic. Go to sounds and multimedia properties and click advanced for Sound Playback.

Install liveware... the latest is 3.0

You can get it

Liveware 3.0 for Windows 2000

Now simply go to Audio Head Quarters... speakers, and select the 4 output version.. test it.. make sure it works and your set.... sounds like you have a drivers problem the 3.0 should fix it right up

you get the creative surround mixer with the liveware...and you can change your speaker selection there...
