I just bought a audigy 2zs. It works great in all but iam having someproblems. I have a 5.1 setup. i unplugg the speaker cord sometimes because I want to hook up the headphones.
When i do this my pc restarts. I dont know where else to plug the headphones since the front of the pc speaker inputs are inactive. Where do i plug my headphones instead of the main speaker input. thnx

I have the ZS platinum, with the gigaworks 7.1's, they both have headphone jacks. Are you using digital, or analog connection for your 5.1's? I *guess* you could plug your headphones in the front speaker jack of your card;(third one away from the firewire), what jack are you
using now? I'm at a loss as to why your computer would restart when simply unplugging the speakers, perhaps the jack sensing software audigy cards now have. Do your handphones work after the restart? It's Sunday and things are a little slow on the T.S. side of the forums.

It might be driver or firmware problems, as well as not having the card seated well. Update drivers and check the seat.
