SoundBlaster Audigy - windows startup

Hi. I got an SoundBlaster Audigy X-Gamer and when I log into Windows 2000, there's an animated splash screen for the Audigy along with its own startup sound. Is there any way to disable the sound or change it? Also can I remove the splash screen? I pretty much installed all the software from the X-Gamer retail box.

Go to programs/creative/sound blaster audigy/creative EAX a little box should appear in the lower right hand coner of your screen-click on the page icon & uncheck load on startup option. That should do it

Also get THIS cool little program. Never have win2k without it.
