Creative released new, unified Audigy Platinum/Audigy 2 drivers in Jan 06. This includes all needed drivers and the Audio Console. The Audio Console replaces 3 or 4 of Creative's old and crappy (and UGLY interface) programs like Audio HQ, Surround Mixer, EAX Console into one better one. The only thing I've found missing from the Audio Console that was actually useful from the old ISO is the THX Setup. Audio COnsole doesn't seem to have separate dB adjustments for individual speakers which I find useful for DVD movie playback so I can jack up the Center speaker so the voices aren't so damn low. GOt to love boombastic movies like Bad BOys 2 where theres some retarded bassy music playing through most of the movie while you are trying to hear the dialogue.
So I would just go ahead and get the unified drivers... they're much newer anyway. If you find you still need one of the old programs, I believe theres links to the ISOs on the Creative forums. I have the AUdigy 2 ZS ISO which can be used for the Audigy Platinum eX with a simple compatibility patch. But again I have not bothered with it since the new drivers came out. Its retarded of Creative that they offer the separate programs for download but you still need the original versions (i.e. the driver CD) to install them.
