Soundblaster Audigy ES MIC HELP! :(

I dont know if any of you are familiar with the online game counterstrike or the online voice chat ventrilo. But i use both of them. My problem is that when i have the two of them open together at the same time with this sound card, my voice in ventrilo is said to be really fast. as if i am speaking three times as fast as normal and i cant be understood. Then there is times where the in-game(counterstrike)voice doesn't work and becomes very distorted.

Drivers wise, i'm quite ashamed of creative as they no longer have drivers for the audigy ES series or any other AUDIGY 1 series sound cards. So i had to goto the asian version of the creative website ( http://asia.creative.com ). I used an update program of theirs and have updated my audigy drivers to the latest that i could find. If anyone has heard/can help me with this problem it would be grealty appreciated.

Creative definetly has recent drivers for the audigy, I just downloaded them and am using them right now. What date is your driver revision?
