Soundblaster and my stereo?

I along with others would like to hook these two components together. My Rig is on the opposite side of the room from the stereo and a straight shot thru the middle of the floor wouldn't be feasible,so dose Anybody know of any limitations on the lengths these cables can run?

sounds like the same setup i have - TV/stereo is directly behind me when i'm on the computer - about 3 meters - i have a VERY dodgy setup - i have a few audio cables joined togther - a 2 metre, and a 3 metre plugged into a 3 way audio/video splitter (video/dvd/computer) and it works without any problems.. so if you need a 5-10 metre cable it shouldnt effect the quality at all

Depends entirely on the quality of the cables. With good quality I would say 70ft max. Always use as short as possible of course.

Generally "Interconnect" cables should be 1-3 meters. If you are a real audiofile nut.

Otherwise go for it! You can get audio cables in just about any length. You might even be able to find a pair that are "flat" or relatively flat... that could go under the carpet or rug.
