The power point is made into a nice slide show with music background but after saving it and send to friend: there is no sound.
I checked and the embedded mp3 is not actually embedded but just a link to the file in the original computer.
I poked around but could not find a way to save the mp3 with the ppt file.

TIA for any help.

I ran into a similar issue so Ill be standing by to see what users recommend.

An alternative is to use Cyberlink's "Media at Show" that creates an exe file that you can send as zip. Another way I handled this problem was by using WinZip Self Extractor. I just made an SFX that installs a folder with all the needed files (ie, the media file and the PowerPoint pps file) onto the desktop. This has issues for the person if they are not in administrator mode or if they relocate the folder.

But the media file is not embedded.
You can embed a WAV file but not mp3 in Power Point. You can only 'linked' an mp3 file. I wondered if there is way around it.
I can convert the mp3 to WAV but the file size is increased ten-fold: 5M -> 50M
Still looking.
