OK, after I installed my x1800xt FEAR just wouldn't boot, I went into the configuration utility and disabled everything, it booted, then I went through and enabled everything until it wouldn't boot.

The result:when sound was enabled it doesn't wrok, and when it is disabled when I am scrolling through the menus something emits a screeching noise from inside my computer, I have no idea what it could be.

And for some reason BF2 decided to quit working too, and I know I played it with this video card.

Yea, I used driver cleaner, then reinstalled the omega drivers.

It works fine with all my other games...

I now think it is my video card becuase I was looking at a website that was too large for my screen adn as I scrolled from left to right I heard a squeeking again, and I do believe it is coming from my 1800.

f there s something wrong with it, could I send it back and get in-store-credit at newegg?

The reason I asked, is basicly the only thing on your video card that could be making a sound is the fan. I've never heard of that brand of power supply for me, could you list the specs(most importantly the +12v rail rating). I had a similar experience with hearing funny noises when moving the mouse and such. Turned out to be the onboard sound on my motherboard, I put in a sound card, and the problem went away, so if you have a sound card you could try I would recomend that.
