Sound Stuttering w/ Vista...

So ever since I upgraded to Vista (Home Premium 64 bit) a few months ago, I have had this sound stutter that happens around every 10-15 seconds and lasts for around 1 second. Its become reallyyy annoying when listening to music or most other things.

I read on an older thread that updating the SATA drivers for your mobo fixed this, but when I put my mobo disk in, a message comes up that says "failed to fix security". (I have an ABIT 975X LGA775 AW9D smile.gif )

So, does anyone know how to fix this sound stuttering?

I am using a Logitech USB headset.
