Sound/Speaker Question

Will I be able to use a 2.1 Speaker Set with an Audigy 2 ZS Sound Card? On the box of the sound card, it says it is compatible with 5.1, 6.1, and 7.1 speakers sets. But I don't see why it wouldn't support 2.1. It obviously has enough jacks.

Will I get significant better sound quality from my integrated sound? I know I won't get a surround sound feeling. But will there be just overall better sound quality?

A better sound card should improve the sound, if combined with quality speakers. If you have quality speakers, then the Audigy 2 ZS should improve the sound -vs- integrated sound. A real good sound card can't make up for cheap speakers.
