I'm looking to get either the Logitech Z-5300e or Z-5500 speaker set. The Z-5300e's goes for $119.99 on Newegg.com and the Z-5500s go for $219.98. I was wondering if anyone has heard both and can let me know if the difference in sound quality is really worth the extra $100 for the Z-5500s. I've heard the Z-5300e's and they sound pretty damn good, but was unable to find a set of Z-5500s to demo in a store.

i'd say yea. 100 speakers are still 100 dollar speakers. you will quickly notice their faults. just look at the stats. and generally, a store enviroment is a poor place to demo.
