Sound Quality Between Classic and Touch

I hear mixed things about the Classic sounding good and bad. I hear things about the Touch having a slight hiss compared to the Classic. I'm in the market to upgrade from my 5G to the Touch (mainly based on the fact that third party software is now available). Are you guys satisfied with the touches feature set + space? I'm currently carrying 12 GB of music, 2 gb of photos and 1gb of The Office.

I haven't had any hissing noises with my 16GB touch since the day I've had it.
