I recently just bought one and finished hooking it up. I ended up replacing the power supply because of faults but that was fine. The only problem I face now is the sound. I just bought an ECS K8 A-939 Motherboard and finished installing the drivers. But no sound comes out of my speakers or headphones. I contacted ECS and they said that it was either the: grounding, drivers, bios, or front panel audio. Drivers I did first, went into safe mode, uninstalled then reinstalled, no difference. The bios I did next, according to the email the rep wanted me to disable it.. but I did it anyway, of course even worse, so I reverted it back to auto. I somehow managed to forget about the front panel audio and moved onto grounding, moved my mobo out of the case and nothing changed. I was about to send an email back when I reread the front panel audio. I looked through the manual and found the front panel audio ports on the bottom left side of my mobo. I looked through all the pins that were on the Aspire X-Plorer and I only found LEDS, HDD LED, and 1394 that were not hooked up. I had already plugged in the Power and Reset switches, and the USB pins. I was reading over the instructions on Aspire, and the closest I could find to anything was the case speaker, which I found after digging through the box and hooking up. Of course all this lets my computer do is beep. So I'm left with a blank front audio panel and I'm not sure what to do with it. Anyone have any ideas?
Oh btw, the sound doesn't work on the back if I didn't clarify that =P.
