Been having problems with Battlefield 2 crashing to desktop, and I think I've narrowed the problem down to sound, having tested direct sound, under dxdiag, I get the following error when I dont hear the sound play at Stereo 8bit 22khz from a software buffer...
DirectSound test results: Failure at step 19 (User verification of software): HRESULT = 0x00000000 (error code)
Any Ideas.
System Specs..
Amd AthlonXP 3000+
Abit NF7 v2.0
2 x 256mb Corsair XMS DDR 400
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro
