Hey guys,

I just bought a logitech X530 speaker setup and when I plugged it in my ASUS mobo, it wont work properly.

could it be that I am not running the latest drivers (5.something) or can it be that the card (rev. 1.04 on 1008 BIOS) that has a problem?

Any input would be greatly apriciated.

more likely drivers than bios problem, what do you mean by its not working? sounds not coming out? or what specifically? might have a bad sub, i've had a bad sub w/ that same set of speakers sound not coming out if thats your problem. im pretty sure your drivers are included in the nvidia unified driver package- if its not working w/ the latest set try downgrading, personally my computer runs better with the 4.24

i am currently running with the drivers that currently came with my mobo (on the CD).

The speakers do work cause each one works, but here's the problem a bit more in details.

When I set the speakers with the speaker wizard, I choose 6 speaker set up, then multiple connection, and nothing else since the sub and front arent plugged in the mic jack. Now, it say configuration done sucessfuly.

When I select dolby sound (analog) I hear front left, center (throught the front left speaker), front right and both rear speakers throught the front left speaker.

When I deselect the dolby surround, I only hear the four satellites and no center chan.

I tried with various options but it always comes down to the front never working and the surround not working properly.

here's what my back panl looks like.

I think it must be a driver issue... but just for some more info

I connected the speaker like so:
