Sound Problem. I hear everything Except voice

I am using an A-64 3000+ with a MSI K8T motherboard that has onboard realtek sound. Suddenly when I play movies in windows media player I cant hear voices. Nothing was done that would start this change as far as I know. I have reinstalled drivers, I even reinstalled windows. It didnt help so I figured it had to be hardware, so I installed a SB Live sound card and had no succes with that either. I need help this id driving me nuts

Thanks

Billy

Try control panel >sounds and audio devices >voice
Make sure a Voice Playback device is selected. Also check volume settings here.

Got a chuckle reading your post:

You can't hear voices, and that's driving you nuts.
Well, if you do start hearing voices, you may be certifiably schizophrenic!

Sorry, sorry 🙂

The voices come on the center channel. If you have a 5+.1 speaker system, check that your center channel is working
