Sound only in speakers/no headphone option in playback devices

Hello everyone, so problem is my cousin have a really old pc of Fujitsu something and recently He installed Windows 7 ultimate to show off. Now his sound from headphone jack is not working. Only internal casing speaker are producing sound.
There is no option of headphone in Playback device there is only Speaker when you right click speaker icon.
like there are two in mine:
1. Speaker/HP
2. Communication Headphones

If someone help me produce sound from headphone i will be really thankful because my cousin's dad goes places and he is gonna spread that I am BSCS student and i know nothing. Please save me from humiliation.

I tried Driverpack solution for sound driver update. It detected and updated AC'97 but still no solution. Also there is no internet connection in their house so I am stuck with offline updating or I would try Slimdrivers which is awesome

speakers are always working even if you plug in 3.5mm pin. Speaker wont ever shut. I tried both front and rear audio jack.

I think it depend on the driver /OS. I have headphones plugged unto my win 7 laptop, and the system treats it just like the standard speakers. The page you linked, on my laptop, does not show a separate entry for headphones.

I would recommend trying the headphones in different ports (front and rear) as well as different headphones to help narrow down the issue.

I tried both panels front and rear with 3 headphones. Same as before, speaker wont shut and no sound in headphones.

OK. Can you tell us what model this computer is? Where are you getting the audio drivers?

Unplug speakers, plug in head phones, go to device manager & delete/uninstall audio driver. Refresh device manager (or reboot) and after audio driver re-installs, check for sound.
