Sound only from left headphone!

Recently, my Sennheiser HD 555's only have sound coming out of their left headphone. The right one has absolutely no sound. Sometimes other people use my computer for stuff so it's possible my brother messed around with some stuff. I didn't try plugging these headphones into another PC or try testing speakers in my current set up either. Any ideas before I start to though? Thanks in advance!

Test these on another computer...or test another pair of headphones/speakers on your pc. This makes it real easy to determine if the problem is your headphones or your sound settings. Check the balance/fade settings. Maybe test the hearing in your other ear too.

The wires and voice coils in headphones are VERY tiny. Dropping them can cause wire breaks and so can other mishaps.

Yep, that's the sad thing about headphones, they're not really made to last. Too many dead phones.

If you got any soldering skills, they're relatively easy to take apart. You could check for loose/broken connections. It might be in the wire itself, but it's likely in the cans themselves. Rewiring shouldn't be too big of an issue.

I own a pair myself, and I haven't had any issues
