Sound on i875 chipset based boards ???

I'm wondering how this 6 channel intel sound compares to the nforce2 ???

anyone know if it is atleast better than a sound blaster live! 5.1 ???

I think extremetech did a review for the 865PE sound. It performed suprisingly well, matching nForce2 Soundstorm in many areas. The only downside is the CPU usage.

The SoundMax on-board sound is very clear that if you don't really compare it to an Audigy+ level card, you'd be satisfied with it.
