No, you will not get sound from TV since you have disabled on-board audio. (I assume that's what you meant by 'built in sound card')

In order to get the sound from HDMI port, you will need to enable on-board audio and select it from Control panel. You may need to install HDMI audio drivers if you haven't already.

Basically Windows lets you choose the source of sound output from Control Panel. Go to Control Panel -> Sound. And you will see available sources.

What you have is actually 3 different sound outputs to choose from:
1. motherboard (which you've correctly disabled)
2. audio card
3. HDMI audio output from the video card
So yes: you will get audio from an HDMI-connected TV.
Note: only #2 & #3 will show up in Device Manager.

hdmi audio is a seperate sound card than onboard audio codec on boards with IGPs like this 790gx.

the hdmi audio will come out of the radeon 3300 HD. if you used the onboard audio for analog it would be coming out of that (realtek or something lik ethat on most boards).

and since you have a sound blaster card, well i guess you can use that for analog, but it will be pure digital and not use your sound card at all in hdmi mode (sound cards are basically useless these days honestly)

Sure enough Sound did came from HDMI with out me enabling the on Board Sound Card.
If I chose Sound Blaster sound comes from Logitech Speakers.
If I choose HDMI sound comes from TV
However TV have TINY sound to it heeee I think I am going to use LogiTech Speakers with Audigy where it sound like little Movie theater.
One thing I also notice CPU usage get higher with HDMI sound enable (10-18%)
