Sound not working...

Whats the last thing you did before the sound stopped working did you change any settings? install anything just tell us everything you did.

did you just reformat and now the sound doesnt work? that is becuase you need the drivers to see what model you sound card is simply go into device manager and look at the model number for your sound.
 
nevermind, fixed it.. drivers weren't on emachines or realtek site so i had to find the damn .exe file which was a dead link on about 10 sites until i found it hosted on a russian site, thank god
