Hey guys,
Just installed a TV Wonder VE, but I just can't seem to get the sound to work. (The whole point of buying it for was this!)
I'm running a shuttle XPC SN45G. (For those of you who don't know, nForce 2 Ultra 400 with soundstorm...)
I have the audio out from the TV Wonder connected to the Line-in jack in the back. I've messed with it a bit, but nothing...

Currently, I'm using Optical out in the back to my Logitech z-680s for output. (Could this have something to do with it?)
Any ideas or suggestions??
LMK, I'm a newbie for this HTPC stuff. Lovin' it so far though...

Yes, that's the problem. The optical out will not receive any feedthrough from analog inputs. It just has processed audio from the system, and digital loop-through from digital inputs, e.g. your CD player device. The audio codecs used on mainboards and PCI sound cards cannot resample analog input onto the outgoing digital stream.

Many PCI TV cards have the option of digitally feeding the audio into the system, and when viewing live, looping it back into the sound output. That'll work.

Thanks for the reply..
I was just browsin' through the Rage3d forums and found out that this has been a long standing issue...
I've hooked up my z-680 front analog imput directly to the audio out of the tv card and switch my imputs back and forth between analog and digital.
Kind of ghetto, but it's the only solution I have right now... I may just get rid of this card... When I want to watch TV, go in front of the TV... :p
