sound not working on k7s5a in slackware?

my sounds is not working on my k7s5a the sound works in linux but it doesnt seem to work in slackware 8.1. is there something i have to change? please help.

Huh? Slackware is Linux, so what exactly are you saying? Is the sound card configured?

Here is a nice doc walking you through configuring your sound card in Slackware 8.0.

I'm not sure if it's different in Slackware 8.1, simply because I can't find any docs on 8.1...

ok i did not see my sis card though so what should do or are you saying i should use the sound blaster live thing?
