Sound not working on Dell SC400 with SuSe 9.1

Hi,

I am new to Linux. I am trying the SuSe 9.1 Pro on the dell sc400. For some reason I can't get the sound to work. It is an onboard intel sound chip. Do I need a different driver? Thanks for any help.

Maybe I posted in the wrong forum last time.
 
I have no idea of what sound chip your computer have, but you can try install/update ALSA.

>> YaST Control Center >> Install and Remove Software

or

>> YaST Control Center >> Online Update

or try running "alsaconf"

or "yast2"
