Sound loop problem with SB Live! and Pro2-A. Resolution?

I've read that some people are having trouble with sound looping with the SB Live! line of cards and the MSI K7T PRO2-A, but I have not read any resolution. I had media player open and the screen suddenly went blank and the sound started looping. Can anyone give me some suggestions? I've disabled SB 16 Emulation in the control panel : system and disabled onboard sound in the BIOS.

In the BIOS, make sure you have both "AC97 Audio" and "Legacy Audio" disabled. Also, make sure your SB Live isn't sharing IRQ's with a device in the system. If it is, try moving it to another PCI slot...
