Good day,

First of all I'm very glad you like my car. It runs and looks just great.
It has no flaws or dents, no leaks and never had an accident. I have its
clear title in hand and it's registered in Arlington, Virginia. I serve
the US Marine Corps and I'm stationed at Naval Air Station Pensacola. I
won't be able to leave the base until September, so I will have the car
shipped to you at my expense because I benefit of various discounts.
I will pay the shipping fees and the insurance of the car.
All documents will be provided to you along with the car including the
bill of sale on your name.

The price is so low because I really need money for personal reasons.
I'm a serious seller and I prefer to deal only with a serious buyer who
understands my situation.
Anyway, I must remind you that I want a fast deal because I need the
money as soon as possible and that is also the reason why I am selling
it at a very low price... so if you are really interested in buying it,
please reply. The final price is $4600.
I will wait for your email, so that we can move forward with this deal.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

V/R

Well, hes not asking to pay you 10k for your 2k car and then have you send him 8k back :) This one is easy, ask to call his CO to verify his deployment. If he's legit he won't balk.

Yep, no kidding. I always thought "what the heck, do they all learn this crap at the same school for scammers or something?"... and then I saw an article yesterday confirming that indeed there are specialized schools for scammers in Nigeria. Funny :)

...who understands my situation.

Scam. I received a nigerian email in my hotmail acct the other day that had perfect english. Kinda freaked me out. Maybe they've finally made enough money at this they've hired people who actually speak english to write the crap for them?

Typically seller's never explain their pricing unless asked about it. Whenever someone addresses in detail why they're selling something at a particular price on a conditional basis, it's always a scam.
