Im having some weird and frustratring sound probs. When i go to play NHRA Prostock some of the sounds are real quiet, like the engine. When i go into the options menu the volume is almost all the way off. I turn it up and get back into the game and it turns itself down again.
Nothing else is running and even after rebooting its the same thing. I have played this game many times with no problems. Even when i go to use Winamp, as soon as I open a sound file the 'wave' slider on my volume control is almost all the way down. I can turn it up and it will be fine until I open another file. I have d'loaded new drivers for my sound card but its the same. Ive had this problem before but it seemed to fix itself. I imported a regstry from when this problem didnt exist but that did not fix it.
please help if you can
