Sound Gone on Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe

Anyone had their sound die on this motherboard? Was working just fine yesterday but when I turned on the PC today, no sound. The nvidia drivers aren't listed in device manager either. Reinstalled the latest nvidia drivers and they're still not there. Updated the BIOS to the latest revision and still nothing. Weird that it would be gone like that. Wondering if the sound chip on the motherboard has died as I can't think of anything else.
