Sound doesn't work - Audigy 2 Platinum

I recently bought all new parts for my PC & did a new install of windows & installing the latest drivers for my sound card.

I get this error message when installing the drivers around 95% or something..

Title: "NTWriteWordConfig - Config_ReadWord"
Error Message: Invalid Handler

.. the driver installation completes properly but the sound just won't work!?

Any ideas?
