I have purchased the Coolerguys WindTunnel Plus case and the Swiftech MC462-A with a delta fan. I am looking for some material to insulated the case and decrease the fan noise. Is there anything I can get from Lowes or Home Depot to do the job. I have heard of dynamat but it is a little expensive.

Depends..I am trying to find out if sonex acoustic foam really works. I have used dynomat, but that doesnt really silent it. It just takes some of the vibrations out of the case. Some sites are selling neoprene, but that would seem like it would get really hot inside.

check out 2cooltek and look at what he has.

JY93, is the Swiftech really that loud? I know that is really a subjective question but I thought that I would ask anyway. Well, put it this way, is the MC462-A significantly louder than what you were using before?

If my Intel stock P4 cooler doesn't get the job done I am going to get the Swiftech.
