Hi all, I was hoping someone in the audio department can help me. 🙁 I have never been an expert in this area so a little help would be great. Were trying to setup a sound console with a laptop, the sound console is hooked up to 6 speakers and we want the sound to project from the laptop to the speakers through a PowerPoint presentation. Now everything is fine and dandy except the sound console is way to far away. We need at least about 15 feet and I'm not to sure exactly what cable to get for the sound console. I know for sure we need a 3.5mm jack on one end since this will be going through a headphone jack on the laptop but the other end needs a 6.35mm/1.4in on the other end according to a monoprice rep.
I know there are so many different ways we can do this, but with time running out (this Sunday for our church) I can't make any mistakes since obviously there wouldn't be enough time to order another. Below are the images of the sound console as well as the back of it. I've also included the default cable that is needed but is way to short to get to the laptop.
