sound connections?

How do I connect the audio wires from my dvd and cdrw to the motherboard and get audio from both while still using the the built in audio chip.The board only has one "cd in" on the board.This system is all new i'm still connecting everything.Parts are as follows,
1.Giga byte-7vrxp motherboard
2.Anthlon 1800
3.512 samsumg ddr 2700 memory
4.liteon 16xdvd
5.cendyne 32x12x40 cdrw
6.wd 40gig hard drive
7.ati all in wonder radeon 7500
I'm not a gamer but do plan on using the dvd player and tv tuner to the max,also the sound chip is a ac 97 chip, will it give decient sound or should I buy a sound blaster live value or audigy?
