Sound Card

I was just wondering:
A. What are the benefits of upgrading your sound card other than sound quality?
B. Would it be worth it to upgrade to a <$50 sound card from my integrated sound?
C. If B == true, what is one you would recommend?

A. You can get better performance and features in games from some cards (mainly creative)
You can have better connectivity options if you need them

B. Maybe if you have decent headphones/speakers which is a severe bottleneck in most people's systems

C. Depends on usage... If you just want a good card for music you could get a Chaintech AV-710, if you want a gaming card, maybe an A2 zs?

Thanks jello. And thanks to blain, but if it doesn't have EAX support, I don't want it (as jello said). Also, I thought my rig link worked. I tested it... anyways, i'll fix it.
