sound card

how much better sound quality will i get if i spring for a sound card? ive got an epox 8rda+. ill be running a headset (not usb) and 4.1 speakers. is the audigy 2 LS a decent card?
basically, is it worth it to get the sound card.
also- im not very familiar with sound components- will i be able to use my speakers in a surround setup and have the headset plugged in (im sure i could do this with the card, but could i do it if i stayed with onboard)?

If you're using high quality speakers and headphones, then yes, go for a nice soundcard. Do you mean Audigy 2 ZS? I don't think they make an Audigy 2 LS, just an Audigy 1 LS.
