Is there a decent sound card with an onboard s/pdif output, so I can send sound from the card to my gtx 285 (and then to the tv via HDMI)?

I wanted to get the HT Striker, but it looks like it just has an onboard spdif input, not output.

Thx!

AFAIK any card or onboard audio that has S/PDIF can be used as an input or an output.

so the striker would be fine, even though it says the connector is input? I'm talking about the connector on the inside of the card, not the one in the main row of i/o ports.

The internal one may be input only but the one on the back of the card sould be able to support input and output. Chances are you'll have to run a cable from the back of the card, threw an open PCI slot and to the video card.
