Hello all. I'm looking for a sound card with RCA (stereo) output. I'm not sure if such a thing even exists. Anyone know of one?

Reason I ask is that I've used the 1/8th stereo plug to female RCA jacks before, and I've noticed a sound quality loss. I was thinking that if the card had RCA's right on it, that may keep the quality where I want it.

Thanks for the help if anyone knows of such a card (new or old).

yep, try the SB Awe64 Gold. I don't remember if this is a PCI or ISA card, but I know the one I used to have had RCA outputs on them. If you're gonna be hooking your sound card up to a decent receiver, you may want to get a card with digital out on it. then you get a perfect connection to your receiver, and don't have to worry about any type of interference in the D/A conversion inside your computer - the receiver would do the D/A conversion instead.

Thanks guys. My Vortex2 has a nice optical out, but I'm hooking my system into a wireless a/v transmitter now, which only has RCA's. I went with the Game Theatre XP.
