sound card troubles

Well basically, my sound card has just started to become a major #######. I get all kinds of snap crackle pop over my speakers when playing music/gaming/pr0ning or any other application that has sound. I know its not my speakers cuz i hooked them up to my walkman for a sec and they sounded fine. My sound card is the SB Audigy MP3+. Now, this didn't happen out of the blue, I had been fiddling with my PC. Mainly, I overclocked my FSB from 133 to 141 (heehee 1700 mhz stable). I don't remember hearing anything at that point but I may have just not noticed since I was mostly running benchmarks. Next thing was that I remembered that my sound card was sandwiched right next to my vid card, so I thought moving it over a slot would give my vid card a bit more room to breath, hopefully allowing me to oc it a few more mhz. Only bad thing I remember from that was that my PC locked up for the first time ever shortly after Windows XP booted (although that may have been from me struggling to get the case back on and shaking things). I didn't really notice anything just then either, but after leaving and coming back a while later, I started listening to some music while surfing and thats when I first heard the snap crackle pop. First thing I did was undo all my oc'ing from earlier and move my sound card back to its original slot, that didn't solve jack. I then removed my sound card entirely, drivers and all, and reinstalled it fresh. Again that didn't solve anything. Since then I've tried all sorts of IDE Mini port drivers, PCI Latency Patches and what not off VIA's website all to no avail. If any of you hardware guru's have any clue as to what could be wrong, maybe something got physically dmged on my sound card or something, give me your thoughts please, I am definitly at my wits end on this one. Thanks for reading, I posted my system specs right below this.

Alright here's some things that you can try:

1) Download the latest drivers and try them.
2) Remove your SB and try blowing out the dust.
3) Put it back where it was, there may be an IRQ conflict that particular slot.

Try those and see what happens.
