Sound Card that will work on KT7 Raid?

First off I'm running Windows 2000.

I have tried a MX300 and it would work for the first few minutes, then cut out after a minutes of playing sound. Then I switched over to a old Sound Blaster 16 PNP ISA, which work for about two seconds and pause for a second, work for two seconds, pauses for one........

What sound cards do work on a KT7 Raid? Do the Live! cards work on it in Win2k?

I'd appreciate if you can post what sound card you are using and if the installation was relatively problem free.

When you tried the ISA Sound Blaster did you set the IRQ/SLOT to Leagacy ISA Device in your PCI/Pnp BIOS options.??

yep go with the sblive. i'd get the value w/digital out. It's the best deal

DaddyG, I just went in and set it, then restarted. Still no change with the SB16PNP.

Try a SBLive! I had problems with any A3D card so I switched over to a SBLive! and it works great now.

Try enabling memory hole in BIOS,if that don`t work another vote for SBlive value.

My MX300 wouldn't work as well. Bought a SBLive Value works great in Win2000.
