Sound Card recommendations for Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 Speakers?

I'm looking at getting a pair of Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 Speakers for my friend, but they'll probably need a sound card too. How do the ProMedia 2.1s sound with integrated sound when playing music and what good sound cards are there for music playback. Gaming sound doesn't matter. Also how would you hook these speakers up to your computer, just plug it into the specified ports on the sound card?
