Sound Card Recommendation for new Gaming rig

Am creating a new gaming rig which will be about 99% gaming and 1% everything else. I would like to set this up to my Home Theatre which has 5.1 speakers with a Yamaha DSP-A2070 Reciever. I know this reciever is pretty old but it works pretty well for movies and such.

I also have a set of Logitech 5.1 Z5300's I'm using now.

So, with those two possible setups in mind, I am looking for a good gaming sound card to replace my on-board with. Now I'll be using 64-bit Vista, and I hate Creative Labs, so please rule them out. I've been looking at the Azuntech's but I dont know the real main differences between the X-Meridian, Xplosion, and X-Mystique, besides the price.

Are there some other cards i should consider besides these 3? Between those 3 which would suit me best? I'm trying to stay under $100, but if i need to go higher I'd like to know if the benefits would be substantial.

Also, would it be best to upgrade my HT reciever as well? Would it provide any noticable gains for my HT system?

I too have the Z 5300's.
Delightful sound system. I tried hooking up my home theater system once (to my Audigy 1). Aside from volume I couldnt hear any quality difference but thats just me.

YoYo says he can hear the quality difference in all sorts of audio systems.
I like PurduRy's sugesstions.
For a personal pick I would go with Sondigo, but I dont feel the need to change right at this moment.
