I've been using sound blaster live w/external panel for couple of months and I recently upgraded to windows xp. Now my computer doesnt recognize the external panel anymore. and i just got a new mic and i want to record but i hear too much hiss in the bg, i think its casue the sound card. I tried installing the sound blaster live driver but it just got worse... I cant plug my speakers into the "black plug" in the back of the comp, i have to plug it into the green plug. also when i try to plug in my mic to the external panel the comp doesnt recognize it, i used to have a Mic 2 under the sound panel but now its gone..
does anyone know whats wrong? or any new sound cards w/ external panels that u suggest me buying thats les than 200?
